The Cabin Guide (Chapter 6) — Anomaly Detected

The Cabin is the sixth contract — live now under the game’s [🪾Chap. 6] title banner. Its badges were created September 24 and began awarding around October 3 when the chapter shipped; as of October 7 the completion badge counts ~19,400 earners, the Veteran badge ~1,480, and the Journal 100% badge has 35 holders worldwide. It is the newest site on the chapter list.

What is The Cabin?

Chapter 6 — the first property past the roadmap’s halfway mark (The Mall’s Journal badge read “Half way there”). The client site is a lakeside cabin in the woods at night — the briefing cards read “Deep in the woods. An isolated cabin.” and “Visibility is extremely poor out here.” before warning “You might want to turn up the brightness for this one.” A porch, a shed, and a moonlit dock camera make it the moodiest map yet.

The Journal’s intro gives this chapter the game’s first real story hook:

The anonymous client reported weird changes around and inside the cabin on September 12, 2026, which they stated started happening after writing “13621” on the wall of their basement after receiving a strange letter. 10 days later, they went missing right after they called us.

Watch the Basement camera accordingly — and note the digits. The cryptic ??? badge that began awarding in early October carries the description N - L - M2 - S2 - E; whether it ties into this story is undocumented.

How do I unlock it?

Same rule as every chapter: clear The Mall on any difficulty and The Cabin opens immediately. The R$89 Unlock All Chapters pass on the gamepasses page skips the chain entirely.

What cameras does The Cabin have?

Twelve feeds cover the property — the same count as The Residence and The Neighbourhood, but spread across interior, exterior, and the lake:

Front Door Living Room
Kitchen Bedroom
Bathroom Attic
Basement Outside
Upstairs Porch
Shed Lake View

What are the difficulty options?

The Cabin’s difficulty picker finally confirms the tier names the community has been guessing at:

Rookie, Normal, and Advanced are open — the fourth slot sits locked behind a “???” label. (Community gameplay capture.)

  • Rookie / Normal / Advanced — the three standard tiers. Advanced’s tooltip reads: “12 cameras to monitor, 3 fails before you’re fired. A total of 12 anomalies. Report 70% of anomalies to pass.” — tighter than the five-fail budget seen on lower tiers.
  • ??? — a locked fourth slot, almost certainly the Veteran tier the per-chapter Veteran badges attach to; footage so far shows it padlocked.

What badges does The Cabin have?

All three are live and awarding — created September 24, earnable since ~October 3:

Badge Requirement Global earners (Oct 7)
Completion Finish a Cabin shift ~19,400
Veteran completion Clear on Veteran mode ~1,480
Journal 100% Catalog all 50 documented anomalies on this map 35 — already the usual endgame wall

What should I know before my first shift?

  • The Journal now shows its math — x/50 for The Cabin, x/324 overall. The overview counter exposes the full six-chapter catalog for the first time, and the tab row lists “Coming Soon” placeholders for future chapters. Persistent progress carries across shifts, so cataloging is a marathon, not a sprint — see the Cabin Journal catalog for confirmed entries.
  • It is dark. The brightness warning is honest advice — several feeds (Shed, Basement, Attic) run near-black. Zoom (Shift / L2 / double-tap) before you file.
  • The lake is a feed too. Lake View and Outside watch the property’s edge — anomalies do not stay indoors.
  • Veteran opens fast. ~1,000 players hold the Cabin Veteran badge already — the hardcore crowd moved on this map in days.

Track what ships next on the update log — with six of ~ten planned chapters live, contracts 7–10 are still ahead.
