How do I get the completion badges?

Finish one full shift on that chapter — clear a normal contract on Standard or Veteran difficulty and the badge awards on completion. Chapters unlock in order, so Ch.1 is the natural first badge. The drop-off between chapters tells its own story: 234K Residence clears shrink to 21K Hospital clears.

How do I get the Veteran badges?

The same chapters on Veteran difficulty — each has a dedicated badge, added July 22, 2026 alongside the mode. Numbers fall off hard: ~6,000 players hold Ch.1 Veteran versus ~590 for Ch.4 Veteran.

What is the Journal badge?

The endgame. Each chapter hides a Journal — a collectible catalog of every anomaly documented on that map. Filling one earns the Journal 100% badge, and these are the rarest achievements in the game:

Which badge should I chase first?

1. Tutorial — free, takes minutes, and teaches the core loop.
2. Ch.1 Completion — your first real badge and the start of the unlock chain.
3. Ch.1 Veteran — the first meaningful flex once you know the map.
4. Journals last — they are the marathon; start one when you know a chapter by heart.
